This is the most capable Oracle Sage has built, and the interesting part is that it does not force you to choose between automation and control. A Quad-Core processor drives a 5.7″ touch screen that switches between Auto and Manual modes – hand the whole process over on a weekday morning, take it back entirely on a Saturday.

The headline feature is Auto Dial-In. The machine measures each shot, works out whether it ran fast or slow, and adjusts the grind setting itself for the next one. Dialling in a new bag of beans normally costs you several wasted shots; here the machine does that work in the background.

Underneath it, dual stainless steel boilers with a triple heating system and PID control let you extract and steam at the same time, with brew temperature adjustable in 1°C steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Auto Dial-In actually do?	It measures how each shot ran and adjusts the grind setting for the next one. In practice it removes most of the trial-and-error you would normally spend on a new bag of beans.
Oracle Dual Boiler or Oracle Jet?	The Dual Boiler adds true dual boilers, Auto Dial-In, a Manual mode, a larger 5.7″ screen and Wi-Fi app control. The Oracle Jet uses ThermoJet heating, starts faster from cold and adds cold brew programmes at a lower price.
Can I bypass the automation?	Yes. Manual mode gives you direct control over grind, dose and milk texturing, so it works as a conventional dual boiler machine when you want it to.
Does the app do anything useful?	Its main value is remote pre-heating – the machine is at temperature by the time you walk into the kitchen.
Does it need a water filter?	Yes, and it matters here. Scale from UAE mains water is the single most common cause of espresso machine failure, so use the supplied filter and descale on schedule.
