What to Look For

Hot or Cold?

Vacuum insulation works in both directions, so a good tumbler keeps iced coffee genuinely cold through a UAE afternoon as effectively as it keeps a flat white hot. Some models, like the Fellow Carter Cold, are shaped specifically for iced drinks and ice cubes.

Care

Ceramic-lined mugs should be hand washed – dishwashers degrade both the interior coating and matte exterior finishes over time. Rinse promptly after milk drinks; dried milk is far harder to remove and will linger as a smell.
