The V60 Switch solves an old argument. Immersion brewing – steeping coffee in water, as a French press does – gives body and sweetness. Pour-over gives clarity and brightness. The Switch does both: a stainless steel ball valve in the base seals the dripper so coffee steeps, then you flip the switch and it drains through the paper filter like a normal V60.

The result is a cup with immersion's body and pour-over's clarity – and, because steeping is far less dependent on pour technique, it is dramatically more forgiving than a standard V60.
