Genuine Hario V60-01 paper filters, cut to match the 60-degree cone of the size 01 dripper. Filter fit matters more than most people realise: a filter that does not sit flush lets water run down the wall instead of through the coffee, and the cup comes out thin and sour no matter how good your technique is. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need 01 or 02?	Check the number moulded into your dripper. Size 01 brews 1–2 cups; 02 brews 1–4.
Should I rinse the filter?	Yes – it removes the papery taste and preheats the dripper and server at the same time.
Can I use a size 02 filter in an 01 dripper?	Not properly – it will not seat correctly, and water will bypass the coffee bed.
