The Gimme French Press is the most forgiving way to make good coffee: coarse grounds, hot water, four minutes, press. No paper filters, no pouring technique, no equipment beyond the press itself. At 450 ml it makes one large mug or two small cups – and full immersion brewing produces the heavy, rich body that filter methods deliberately strip out.
