The V60-02 is the size most people should buy – it brews anywhere from one to four cups, so it covers a solo morning and a pot for guests with the same device. Ceramic, made in Arita, Japan, with the three features that define the V60: a 60-degree cone, spiral ribs that stop the filter sealing to the wall, and a single large outlet that gives you full control of flow.

How to Brew

Rinse the filter with hot water to remove paper taste and preheat the ceramic.
Medium-fine grind, roughly 20 g of coffee to 320 ml of water.
Bloom with 60 ml, wait 30 seconds, then pour in slow spirals.
Total brew time around 3:00–3:30.

02 or 01?	02 handles 1–4 cups and is the more flexible choice; 01 is better if you almost always brew a single cup.
Do I need to preheat?	Yes – rinsing the filter with hot water does both jobs at once.
Which filters?	Hario V60-02 filters, in 40 and 100 packs at Coffeedesk.ae. Size 01 filters are too small.
Why is the hole so big?	Because flow is controlled by your pour and grind, not the dripper – that is what makes the V60 expressive and why it rewards practice.
